In accordance with the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA), we have adopted the following policy concerning content that is alleged to infringe upon the copyrights of third parties.

This DMCA Policy outlines how copyright owners can report content that they believe infringes on their rights and how we respond to such notices.


1. Reporting Copyright Infringement

If you believe that content available on or through BestAttractions.org infringes your copyright, you may submit a written DMCA Takedown Notice to our designated copyright agent.

To be valid under the DMCA (17 U.S.C. §512), your notice must include the following:

  1. Your physical or electronic signature;
  2. A description of the copyrighted work you claim has been infringed;
  3. A description of the material that is allegedly infringing, including the URL or location on our website where the material is found;
  4. Your name, address, telephone number, and email address;

  6. A statement, under penalty of perjury, that the information in your notice is accurate and that you are the copyright owner or authorized to act on the copyright owner’s behalf.

2. Response to Takedown Notices

Upon receipt of a valid DMCA takedown notice:

  • We will promptly remove or disable access to the allegedly infringing material.
  • We will notify the user who posted the content, if applicable.
  • We may terminate the accounts of repeat infringers in appropriate circumstances.

We reserve the right to determine whether the material alleged to be infringing will be removed or retained pending resolution.


3. Submitting a Counter-Notification

If you believe your content was removed or disabled by mistake or misidentification, you may file a DMCA Counter-Notification with us.

To be valid, your counter-notification must include:

  1. Your physical or electronic signature;
  2. Identification of the material that has been removed or disabled and the location where it appeared before removal;
  3. A statement under penalty of perjury that you have a good-faith belief that the material was removed or disabled as a result of mistake or misidentification;
  4. Your name, address, and phone number;
  5. A statement that you consent to the jurisdiction of the federal court in your district (or of the judicial district where the service provider is located, if outside the U.S.) and that you will accept service of process from the person who submitted the original DMCA notice.

4. Repeat Infringers

In accordance with the DMCA and other applicable laws, BestAttractions.org has adopted a policy of terminating users who are deemed to be repeat infringers in appropriate circumstances and at our sole discretion.


5. Misrepresentation and Legal Consequences

Please note that under Section 512(f) of the DMCA, any person who knowingly misrepresents that material or activity is infringing may be subject to liability for damages, including costs and attorneys’ fees.

Filing a false claim or counter-notification may result in legal consequences.
