Cape San Blas is a beautiful place to visit for the whole family. If you want to golf, there are three different golf clubs that you can choose from. No matter if you want a challenging course or something more laid back for beginners, you will find it here.
St Joseph’s Bay Country Club, Port St Joe, FL
Located in a very scenic part of the world, this 18-hole golf course offers a challenging game for both beginners and more experienced players. The course was designed by Denis Griffiths and opened in 1992.
The golf course is set against palm trees and takes advantage of the natural beauty of St Joseph Bay. It also features a large practice area with a driving range, putting green, and a chipping area with a sand bunker to help you hone your skills before taking on any holes! The clubhouse has excellent views over the bay, and food service is available if you need some refreshment after your round!
St James Bay Golf Club, Carrabelle, FL
St. James Bay Golf Club is a public golf course in Carrabelle, Florida. The course was designed by Robert Trent Jones, Sr., and opened for play in 1963. St. James Bay offers a total of nine holes that are played over three separate nines: the North Course (holes 1-4 and 9), East Course (holes 5-8), and West Course (holes 6 and 7).
The standard layout at St. James Bay features greens that average around 7,000 square feet, each with an undulating contour. They are pretty receptive to approach shots but can be challenging to hold once you get into the green itself because of their size and slickness combined with subtle breaks throughout them.
Nature Walk Golf Club, Lynn Haven, FL
Nature Walk Golf Club in Lynn Haven, Florida, offers a unique experience. The par-72 course measures 6,817 yards and is a links-style course with nine holes playing along the waters of Gulf Bay. The signature hole is the 17th which features three bunkers guarding both sides of an island green.
The course rating is 73.1, with a slope rating of 117 on Bermuda grass greens. For those interested in learning more about golf, there is also an academy at Nature Walk Golf Club where you can learn about this beautiful sport!
Amenities include a restaurant and snack bar, a pro shop, and a stuffed animal display.
The 18-hole Cape San Blas Golf Course is a 9-hole executive course. It features par 3s and 4s with two tee boxes on each hole. The course layout offers many challenges, with five water holes and plenty of sand traps to keep you busy. The course winds through hardwood hammocks and pine Flatwoods, passing through saltwater marshes, over dunes, and along the beachfront.
There are also amenities such as a restaurant, snack bar, pro shop, and a stuffed animal display.
