Located in downtown Rock Hill, South Carolina, Fountain Park is a 1.5-acre mixed-use park with a water feature. This interactive fountain has an anemometer, which limits its height in windy conditions. The center nozzle uses about 1,000 gallons of water, spraying up to 100 feet in the air.
The water feature is the centerpiece of a small theater. There are benches and music. The fountain is a good photo spot. There is ample street parking.
The site is a joint venture between Comporium and the city of Rock Hill. The project was conceived to catalyze downtown development, spurring economic vitality. It also will be home to a performing arts center and a 100-room hotel. The fountain and surrounding green space are all part of a public-private partnership.
Glencairn Garden

Cherry Park has many amenities, including a large playground, a dragonfly teeter-totter, and a rockscape climbing unit. The park also has a control tower, picnic shelters, restrooms, and a paved fitness loop.
The park has more than 300,000 visitors each year. The park is also one of the largest money makers for the city. It has been estimated that Cherry Park has generated over $120 million in direct economic impact since its opening.
Museum of York County
Located in Rock Hill, South Carolina, the Museum of York County is a place of cultural and natural history. The Museum is open Tuesday through Saturday from 10:00 am to 5:00 pm. It offers special group rates and is closed on Easter, Independence Day, Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year’s Day.
