    Many Hayward residents flock to cities such as Castro Valley, Pleasanton, Livermore, San Jose, and San Mateo because Hayward doesn’t offer higher end retail shops, restaurants, and nicer areas to gather. We end up supporting other cities’ economy rather than keeping the money in our own city. Some nicer small businesses are making their way into Hayward, but it is slowwww.
