Little River Park

The park is home to the Moore Veterans Memorial. A plaque honors all those who have courageously served our country. There are several other memorials to veterans as well.
The park also has a 15-foot-tall black granite obelisk. It’s also home to five black granite tablets that bear the seals of the five branches of the military.
Parmele Park
Located in Moore, Oklahoma, Parmele Park was designed by local elementary school children. The City of Moore parks and recreation department chose the park as the first Splashpad in the city.
The playground contains several challenging and collaborative play elements and an interactive splash pad. It also offers a half-mile walking trail, benches for 50 people, a water fountain, and heat-resistant playground equipment.
The playground is nestled in a wooded area across from a snow cone shop. The park offers ample parking and plenty of picnic table seating for up to 200 people. The park’s splash pad has modern splash equipment and shaved ice for cooling off. The park’s playground was recently selected as a 2015 Dream Design Award winner.
Buck Thomas Park
