Those residents were then asked to vote on the project. Two-thirds of the funding for the trial came from state grants.

In addition, Upper Darby Township and the Pennsylvania Department of Conservation and Natural Resources also provided matching funds.

Dermond Recreation Area

Located in the Drexel Hill section of Upper Darby, Pennsylvania, the Dermond Recreation Area is a small park on Dermond Avenue. This park has a fenced dog park, playground equipment, concession stand, and parking. In addition, there are six baseball fields in the recreation area.
